Mi Janvier Jean-Louis a eu sa première injection du vaccin Pfizer dans le cadre de son boulot, et 3 semaines après la deuxième.

L'hôtel JUPITER 2ième hôtel de son boss accueille depuis le début de l'épidémie les SDF qui ont le Covid, c'est pourquoi ils ont proposé à toute l'équipe des 2 hôtels de se faire vacciner.

Mid January Jean-Louis get his first Pfizer vaccine injection as part of his job, and 3 weeks after the second one.

JUPITER Hotel second hotel of his Boss is from the beginning of the pandemic a shelter for the homeless people who has the Covid, that's why they asked all the staff of both hotels if they want the vaccine.

 13 Février la neige ! Cette année, un peu comme en 2016 lors de notre arrivée à Portland, nous avons eu droit à une bonne couche de neige ainsi que de la glace ! 

Tout ce poids sur les arbres a cassé des branches et des lignes électriques donc pour nous 2 nuits et une journée sans électricité, chauffage, eau chaude et gazinière 🥶

Mais c'était super beau !!! 

February 13th the snow ! This year, a little as in 2016 when we arrived in Portland, we had a good amount of snow and ice !

All this weight on the trees broke some branches and power lines, so for us 2 nights and 1 day without electicity, heat, hot water and electrical stove 🥶

But it was super nice !!!

Heureusement nos amis et voisins Lynn et Steve ont un poele à bois. Super soirée au coin du feu avec eux à la lumière du camping gas 😁

Hopefully our friends and neighbors Lynn and Steve have a wood stove. Wonderful evening with them next to the stove with the camping gas light 😁

En France confinement et couvre-feu, ici rien de tout ça, mais nos Happy Hours se font toujours dehors ..... quand il fait beau et pas trop froid! 

In France lockout and curfew, here nothing like that, but our Happy Hours are still outside .... when it's sunny and not too cold !

 Enfin le Printemps arrive en Oregon!

Glad all is going well in Portland. When I drink an Oregon Pinot I think of you both. Great news about the vaccine. Hopefully, there is light at the end and we can return to seeing family and friends properly again. Love the pictures.
